Front End Developer – Angular

The role

We are looking for a talented Front End Developer with strong Angular and TypeScript skills to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop high-quality, touch-based user interface applications for our next-gen automation products used in pig, poultry, and mushroom farming. You will be instrumental in designing user experiences for embedded HMIs and cloud services that are responsive, intuitive, and impactful.

UI/UX design skills are a big plus, as we love bringing user-centered insights into our work. Collaborate with our design team to ensure smooth and effective interfaces that our users—from installers to on-site operators—will enjoy interacting with every day.

Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain Angular-based UI applications for touch devices and cloud-based applications, creating smooth and intuitive experiences for system installers and on-site users.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to transform complex ideas into simple, effective user flows and clean navigation.
Write clean, reusable and scalable code to support the platform's long-term evolution and maintain a consistent, high-quality look and feel.
Contribute to design discussions and help refine our design guidelines to ensure cohesive, user-centered products.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation to ensure reliability and functionality across different devices.

About you

We are looking for someone with solid front-end skills, attention to quality, and a good sense of UX.

What you bring

Experience level: Medior/Senior in a Scrum/Agile environment, with the ability to work independently and proactively.
Technical expertise: proficiency in Angular and TypeScript, with a well-structured approach to writing code.
Testing knowledge: experience with Jest for unit testing.
Languages: fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus but not essential.

Nice-to-haves

Full-stack awareness: background in build systems (Bazel) and CI/CD (Jenkins).
UI/UX enthusiasm: experience with Figma and creating user-centered designs.
Embedded systems knowledge: familiarity with touch-based UI, NgRx Store, and Angular gRPC frameworks.
Tech stack familiarity: understanding of MQTT, gRPC, Git version control, and RPC/stream-based communication.
